This is the house that love built!

Costa Rica Project

The idea began in the adult Sunday school class headed by Smith Blackburn. It was decided to take up a small collection to contribute toward the building of a house in Costa Rica. Rockville Presbyterian Church was the church that had members of their congregation actually going to Costa Rica to build the house. We would be assisting them financially. It was then decided that our congregation might be able to build an actual house so Smith and Angie Blackburn presented the idea to the entire congregation and requested a love offering to help with this project. The cost of a new house in Costa Rica was around $3000.00.

With God's help and the help of the members at St. Andrew's we did raise the $3000.oo needed to build a house. But that was not all. With that house being built, we later got word that it actually put the family unit back together. Our working together with Rockville Presbyterian Church not only built a house, but it also rebuilt a family. It truly is amazing what God can do!

These are pictures of pictures showing the building of the house in Costa Rica.
